Robert Gallops Obituary
Robert Louis Gallops, 67 of Columbus, GA passed peacefully with his loving family by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m.Thursday July 31, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Alan McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Robert was born July 31, 1957 in Columbus, GA to the late George E. Gallops and Edith Jeanette Moore Gallops.
He was formerly employed with AFLAC in the printing department where he made multiple lifelong friends. Robert was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed watching sports and listening to the sporting events of his grandchildren.
Survivors include his brothers: Don Gallops (Judy) and Richard Gallops; son: Lance Smith (Jenny); daughters: Rachel Gallops White, Amber Crisco (Ned), Heather Hewitt, and Nicole Duke. Eleven grandchildren: Trinity, Cooper, Harper, Skylar, Bubba, Trevor (Jessica), Clara, Jaelyn, Isaiah, Neshawn, and Cynsere; four great grandchildren: Jase, Levi, Waylon, and Bentley; special cousin Alan McDaniel (Connie); special friends Brenda McGregor and Lindy Hamilton, and many other loved ones.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter: Courtney, and great granddaughter: Sadie.
