Robert Gamble

Robert R. Gamble, a cherished soul from East Liverpool, found final peace at his sister Vickie's home in St. Louisville, Ohio, on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Growing up on Second and Third Streets of East Liverpool, Bob was born on September 1, 1947, to Charles J. Gamble Sr. and Marian Dugan Heddleston. For 78 years, his story was woven into the fabric of this community. Bob travelled the county installing rooftop HVAC units for Walmart before returning home to open his own repair business. His skill matched only by his pride as a 1965 graduate of East Liverpool High School and his honorable service as a US Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. Those who carry his memory forward include his beloved siblings: Charles R. (Lois) Gamble of Southport, NC; Charles J. (Gwen) Gamble Jr. of Glenmoor; Terri (Scott) Gamble-Anderson of Metz, WV; Vickie (Joseph) Corbisello II of St. Louisville, OH; and David Heddleston of East Liverpool. He now joins in peaceful rest his parents, Charles and Marian, his sisters; Linda Illig, Kitty Alford, and Kathy Heddleston and his brothers, Dean Heddleston and Michael Gamble. Arrangements are entrusted to the gentle care of Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Final internment will be at Columbiana Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
