Deborah McKenzie Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Arner Funeral Chapel - Chester on Feb. 24, 2026.
Deborah A. "Deb" McKenzie, 74, of Chester, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 23, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on November 24, 1951, in East Liverpool, she was the beloved daughter of Evelyn K. Pisarsky Green of Glenmoor and the late Roland E. McKenzie.

Deb was a proud 1970 graduate of Southern Local High School. Shortly after graduation, she answered the call to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Army, where she performed in the Army Band. After her second reenlistment, she traveled throughout the nation assisting with hospital installations and projects, dedicating many years of honorable service to the country she deeply loved.

Following her military career, Deb continued her pursuit of knowledge and devoted herself to helping others by becoming a chiropractor. Through her care and compassion, she touched many lives and made a lasting impact on those she served.

Deborah had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially cherished time spent camping. Clewell Campground at Guilford Lake was one of her favorite places, where she created treasured memories surrounded by nature, family, and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her loving mother, Evelyn; her sisters, Rene Winland and Gail Lindsey (Herman); her brother, Roland McKenzie Jr. (Alice Brown); and by all who had the privilege of knowing her strength, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
