Robert T. "Bob" Garceau

Robert T. Garceau St. Albans Mr. Robert T. Garceau, age 79, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010, in the St. Albans Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 29, 1931 in St. Albans, son of the late Thomas and Bertha (Lareau) Garceau. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Viet Nam Conflicts. Upon being discharged from the Army, he married Rosalind Young in 1966. Rose died October 21, 2009. Bob worked as a superintendant at the Northwest Correctional Center, and later worked in manufacturing with Champlain Cable. Bob is survived by his 2 daughters, Anne Garceau of Swanton, and Carol Giroux and her husband Robert of St. Albans, 3 grandchildren, Heather and Daniel Sartwell, and Kelly Garceau, a sister, Jeanette Silk of St. Albans, and 2 special nieces Debbie Dooley and Gail McGrath, along with several other nieces, nephews and friends. A Graveside Interment will be held in the Garceau family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Monday, August 8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. There will be no visiting hours.
