Robert Eugene Gash, 57 years old, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Robert was born May 15, 1966, in Brookfield, MO, to Bette (Lewis) Gash and Marvin Eugene Gash. Robert went to Brookfield R-III School in Brookfield, MO. He drove a truck over the road for many years as he later moved to Springfield, MO, where he continued his truck driving career and raised his three kids, Braston Eugene Gash, Marquis Wayne Gash, and Kailoni Marie (Gash) Jeffries.
Robert loved to hunt throughout his life, taking after his dad, not only hunting but fishing, truck driving, building (houses, sheds, porches, etc.), and working on vehicles as well. He loved his kids and grandkids. Robert and his two big sisters (Debra (Gash) Frazier) and (Rita (Gash) Wright) loved to go to the lake and cruise around, swim, fish, and whatever fun it led them to.
Robert worked for several different trucking companies throughout his career until his health made him retire.
He is survived by his three children, Braston Eugene Gash and spouse Rachael of Urbana, MO, Marquis Wayne Gash and spouse Lisana of Ozark, MO, and Kailoni Marie (Gash) Jeffries and spouse Mason of Whiteman Air Force Base, MO. Four grandchildren, Adreanna Gash, Loghan Watley, Emery Watley, and Eleanor Gash. Two siblings, Debra Frazier and boyfriend Russell of Hurley, MO, and Tracie Wright and spouse, Russell of Africa, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Elizabeth Gash and Mavis Lewis; his parents, Marvin Eugene and Bette Gash; fiancé, Arlene Reed; a sister, Rita Wright; and an infant nephew, Eric Matthew Frazier.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield, MO, with Marquis Gash officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO, and service arrangements are under the direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
