Robert J. Gauthier Jr. – Age 38, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 30, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He was born in Lowell, November 4, 1984, beloved son of Robert J. Gauthier of Billerica and Cheryl M. (Clement) Pirog and her husband Jeffrey of Manchester, NH and was a resident of Billerica all his life.
For many years Robert worked with his father at Gauthier Sheet Metal Contracting. Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Besides his parents, Robert is survived by his sister, Lynne Welsh and her husband Kevin of Londonderry, NH; his niece and nephew, Christian and Hailey Welsh; his maternal grandparents Eugene and Judith Dupuis of Lowell and his paternal grandparents Helen and Eugene Gauthier of RI He also survived by his very close friend (Brother) Mark Cibulski Jr.
Bobby was a lover of all genres of music including making his own music and playing his guitar. He was a huge fan of wrestling and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had quick wit and an enthusiasm to be a jokester.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, Sept. 4 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Robert's funeral arrangements will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clear Path for Veterans New England - give.clearpathne.org

My deepest sympathies for your loss! Bobby was a wonderful man! I know I didn´t know him very long but his passion for the things he loved and his sense of humor made me feel like I knew him forever!! I am very sad to hear of his passing and am glad we got to at least enjoy a short time together !
