Robert Lee George, 70 of Cottondale, passed away August 20, 2025 at home. Service arrangements are pending.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Dewey and Pearl George, son; Cody George, sister; Mary Jane George Walker, brothers; Henry Pettus "Bill" George, and William Curtis "PeeWee" George.
Survivors include his sisters; Annie Pearl Hartley (Authur), Betty Jean Ward (Sam), brothers; Wilford "Buck" George and John Cecil George. He is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roger George, Authur Hartley, Jr. (A.J.), Dewey George, John Curtis George, Kelvin Moore, and Dalton George. Honorary pallbearers are church members, his nieces and nephews and his friends and co workers at Bunn Brothers Construction.
