So sorry to hear about Bob ! Great guy and Coach. I played for him at BG 74-77', and loved every minute of it.
Terrific sense of humor, so we had a lot of laughs. I'm in Naples and (meant) to get up and watch him in Pickleball matches.... sure wish I did . But we did speak a few times last few years.... saw Bob & Phyliss at fellow BG player Dave Trimble's wedding .
Bob- thanks you for everything at BG and you will certainly be missed .

I had the good fortune to play for Coach in the mid 80´s. Terrific dry sense of humor and I remember his advice to the team, "whether you win or lose, act like you´ve done it before". Good life lesson. Rest in peace, Coach and Phyllis.

Coach always believed in me and his trust and belief paid off in the end. He was a true gentleman and had a dry sense of humor that kept us all laughing. He'll be missed for sure.

It was an honor and a gift to play for Coach Gill at Bowling Green State University. We had some great memories from on and off the courts.
I remember his "keen" sense of direction as he drove us to our matches. I also appreciated his sense of humor.
May he rest in Peace.
