Robert Eddie Glass

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Eddie Glass, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 72. Eddie was a cherished resident of Dothan, AL, and later in life moved to Headland, AL. He was born in Blakely, GA, on September 8, 1953, to the late Robert E. Glass and Ellene Driver Glass.

Eddie dedicated his professional life to the car sales industry, where he was known for his dedication and warm personality. Beyond his career, Eddie was a devoted member of a men’s group at Headland Baptist Church, where he participated in Men's Bible Study, sharing his faith and stories with others.

He is survived by his loving children, Joel Glass of Headland, AL, and Carly Williams (Don) of Dothan, AL. Eddie was a proud grandfather to Don Williams III and Grace Williams, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Ray Glass of Thomasville, GA, MaryAnn Beasley (Larry) of Winter Springs, FL, and Margie Hicks of Cowarts, AL. Eddie leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his playful spirit and endearing sense of humor.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Glass and Ellene Glass, and his brothers, Billy Glass, Earl Glass, and Joe Glass.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. A graveside service will follow at Blakely Cemetery in Blakely, GA, at 2:00 pm, where Eddie will be laid to rest.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care during this difficult time.

Robert Eddie Glass will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
