Robert Glenn

Robert Ennis Glenn, 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born July 15, 1949, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late William Keith Glenn and Miriam Patterson Glenn. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Tom Glenn and Ikey Glenn.

Bob (aka "Sweet Ol' Bob" or "S.O.B") retired from United Parcel Service after 27 years of faithful service to the company. He was a hard worker who provided well for his family. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and was a man of unshakeable faith. He loved to laugh and spend time on the golf course when he could. Most of all, Bob loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

He is survived by the love of his life for 57 years, his wife Nancy Ann Bascue Glenn; daughters, Dena Nelson (Chris) and Miriam Booker (Dan); brothers, Sam Glenn and Keith Glenn; sisters, Miriam Holcombe and Dena Clair; grandchildren, Candice, Robbie (Elora), Hayden, Trey, Brien (Hunter), Matthew (Raegan), and Hunter; and great grandchildren, Ayla, Flora, and Fauna.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 1:00-2:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Dr. Steve Silvey officiating.
