Robert "Rusty" Goan

Robert "Rusty" Goan, 76, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born in Newport, Tennessee, on February 19, 1949, Rusty was the cherished son of the late Nora and John Manning. Rusty was the beloved husband of 51 years to Linda Goan, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure. He was a devoted father to Kimberly Goan and the late Rodney Goan, and a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews who will remember his warmth, humor, and generous spirit. He was preceded in death by his siblings Carroll "Sunny" Larry and Terry Manning, whose memories he carried with him always. Rusty had a deep love for travel, and his heart remained tied to his Tennessee roots. He often returned to the hills and hometown that shaped him, finding comfort in familiar landscapes and cherished memories.
