Robert Harry Godown, 84, of Coopersburg, PA, died on September 16, 2025, in his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Robert was the son of the late Harry S. Godown and the late Helen E. (Buckson) Godown.

He began working in construction and went into business for himself building custom homes.

In his free time, Robert enjoyed hunting locally and on several trips out West. He also loved fishing from any pond, creek, lake, ocean or back bay and always loved Sunnies on Sunday for breakfast. He loved taking weekend trips to the mountains with the kids.

Robert always had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Tessa and Tiana.

Above all else, he loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.

Robert will be dearly missed by his children, Vicki Godown, Lori Volovnik (Richard), Robert J. Godown (Joan), Michael Godown (Tammy), and Keith Godown; his grandchildren, Robert Godown Jr. (Erin), Jennifer Jimenez, Richard Volovnik Jr. (Erin), Christy Kishbaugh (Jared), Michael Godown Jr. (Rebekah), Lexie Godown; his great-grandchildren, Robby, Cooper, Olivia, Hunter, Madison, Mackenzie and Brynn; his siblings David Godown and Elizabeth Homay. In addition to his parents, Robert is predeceased by a brother Kenneth Godown.
