Robert E. Goldey

Robert E. Goldey, 89, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1936, in Henry County, Indiana, the son of Clifford and Marie (McIntosh) Goldey. He retired from Arvin's in 1995. He was a member of the Lifeline Wesleyan Church in Greensburg. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and reading good books. Robert was a veteran having retired after 25 years of service in the U.S. Airforce, U.S. Army and Indiana National Guard. He married Diana Faye Wright on June 8, 1985, in Westport, she survives along with his daughter, Crystal D. (Brian M.) Gray of Bloomington; his son, J. Mitchell (Marla) Goldey of Columbus; his four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Randie C. Goldey and his brother, William R. Goldey. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Friday November 7th, 2025, at the Lifeline Wesleyan Church in Greensburg with Pastor Shaun Benefiel officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Following Robert's wishes cremation will follow the service. The service will be streamed on Lifeline Wesleyan Website and Facebook. Memorial contributions may be made to Lifeline Wesleyan Church through the funeral home. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
