Quintin Goldey, age 22, of Shelbyville, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. He was a great friend to many and was greatly loved by his family and friends. He had a talent for growing beautiful flowers; enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music, cooking good food, and making people laugh. He was loving and kind hearted. His favorite place to be was in the woods or on the water hunting and fishing. Quintin was preceded in death by Eric Payton (Uncle), Georgia Edmonds (Paternal Great Grandmother), and his best dog, Daisy.


Survived by:

Father: Josh Goldey and Tia Alton of Shelbyville

Mother: Jana Goldey and Jeremy Winburn of Louisville

Brother: Christian Goldey

Grandparents: Danny and Paula Payton of Pendleton

Lisa and Jeff Goldey of Shelbyville

Several Great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other family and friends that love him greatly


Funeral Service: 2 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. 

Visitation: 11 AM until service time on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. 

Burial: Grove Hill Cemetery
