Roy Smith Obituary
Roy Smith, age 90, of Smithfield, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. Roy was a member of the New Grove Missionary Baptist Church and the Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge in Edmonson County, KY. Roy retired from Ford Motor Company after 40+ years. He was the son of the late Owen and Marie Lou (Martin) Smith and was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jo Conner.

Wife of 71 years: Mary Diane (Elmore) Smith of Smithfield
Daughter: Vickie Elaine Brown (Jim) of Smithfield
Son: Owen Wayne Smith (Becky) of Smithfield
Brother: Charles Harmon of Smith Grove, KY
5 Granddaughters
9 Great Grandchildren
2 Great-Great Grandsons
There will be a Memorial visitation from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at Roy & Mary’s house on Thursday, September 25, 2025. (350 Old Jericho Road, Smithfield, KY 40068)
