Barbara was born in Columbia, SC to William H. Henry & Mary Kimmell on 12/06/1945.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Kendrick Carl Smith.

Barbara is survived by Benjamin (Nora) Smith, Matthew (Celina) Smith, her uncle Howard Horner, grandchildren Amber (Joe) Espinoza, Adam (Tessa) Smith, Anna Smith, Mason Smith, & Alyssa Smith, & great-grandchildren Evianna Espinoza & Jakobe Espinoza.

Barbara was a woman of deep faith who dearly loved her church and lived out her beliefs through her support of missionaries and a life of service. Her faith guided her and was evident in her generosity and empathy to all who knew her. Barbara was an avid reader and often spent her evenings in devotion studying the word of the Lord.

She was a devoted wife and a loving nurturing mother whose family was the center of her life. Barbara's home was a place of warmth, encouragement, and love – always putting others before herself.

Professionally, Barbara enjoyed a successful career in real estate, where she served her clients with dedication and integrity. She approached her work not just as a profession, but as a way to serve others and help them find a place to call home.

Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her giving heart, and the love she poured into her family and her church.
