Robert Lynn Gorham was born on May 22, 1959, in Pisgah, Iowa to Max and Ruth (Miller) Gorham. He grew up in Woodbine, Iowa where he attended high school. Robert worked many jobs. He worked in the fields, drove a semi, worked construction and was a mechanic. Robert was united in marriage to Jean-Marie Lawless on June 29, 1990, in Logan, Iowa.
Robert loved to travel the country and ride his motorcycle. Most of all he loved his family.
Robert died on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at his daughter’s house in Missouri Valley, Iowa at the age of 65 years, five months and 23 days.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean-Marie Gorham in 2019; son, Timothy Gorham; and brothers, Dale and Charlie Gorham. He is survived by his daughter, Kristine and her husband Ted Tharp of Missouri Valley; grandchildren, Hayley Miller, Erika Miller, Vaeda Miller, Andria Gorham, Aleshia Gorham and Timothy Gorham; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Bryxly, Kingston, K’ahna and one on the way; siblings, Linda (Everette) Gunderson of Minden, Iowa, Sandy (Richard) Richmond of Omaha, Nebraska, Dick (Carole) Gorham of Woodbine and Ronnie (Janice) Gorham of Plattsburg, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
