Robert Earl Graham, age 73, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023. Robert was born in Altus, Arkansas to Earl K and Twila Marie (Agee) Graham on April 7, 1950. He began his childhood in Ozark, AR where his family grew from three to four with the birth of younger sister, Margaret Diane. They later moved to Conway, AR where he attended Blue Bird Kindergarten and the first grade. The Graham family then moved to Little Rock in 1957 where he would live for the remainder of his life.
Robert graduated from Central High School in Little Rock and then attended DeVry Technical College in Dallas, Texas. He specialized in electronics and purchased Jolly TV when he was 24 years old. The Graham family were active members at Immanuel Baptist Church and it was through their singles ministry that he met his future bride, Gwendolyn Glasscock Toland. They wed in 1975 and enjoyed 48 years of a happy marriage.
After Jolly TV closed, Robert was employed in several different areas at UAMS and Baptist Hospital including EC Technology, TV service repair technician, security and later as a caregiver for the homebound. His hobbies consisted of fishing, hunting, cooking and gardening. Robert enjoyed serving others and remained an active member of the Baptist faith throughout his lifetime.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Twila Marie Graham. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Gwendolyn Graham, his stepson Chad Toland (Beth) and grandchildren Matthew, Gracen and Lauren Toland all of Little Rock. He is additionally survived by his sister Margaret Diane Runyan (Fenton) of Arkadelphia, AR, nephew John Runyan of Newport News, VA, and nieces Melody Hollingsworth (Joel) of Hot Springs, AR and Crystal Pyke (Robby) of Fate, TX along with several great-nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Celebration of Life at 3:00 in the chapel. Dr. Steven Smith and Jo Ann Keith, Gentiva Hospice Chaplain, will be officiating the ceremony.
