Robert Eugene Gresham III, passed away on December 27, 2024. Robert, "Burr" to his siblings, was a generous, kind, funny, loving father, loyal friend and wonderful brother. He was a self-made, successful business owner who was well respected in his field. He provided a generous lifestyle for his family until his health began to fail.
Sadly, when Robert became ill, he was deserted by those who should have loved him the most. He was lost to his friends and siblings for two years. We all searched diligently for him with no information forthcoming from those who knew his whereabouts. It was God's blessing that his friends found him about two months before his death and they found his siblings. We were blessed to spend time with him and give him the love and care that he deserved after two years of no outside contact except medical professionals. He was very clear minded and enjoyed his friends and siblings talking about funny stories and memories. He loved having nice new clothes and the pictures of family and friends on his wall. Despite our efforts to bring him back to a healthier condition, he was far too deteriorated for his condition to be reversed. His friends were with him on Christmas and his sister the next day until a few hours before he passed.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister Betty Hamilton Faiella, and his daughter Caroline Gresham. He is survived by his siblings Barbara Gresham Davis, Peggy Gresham Pruett and Roger Register, as well as their families. He was blessed to have dear friends Calvin Jones, Tom Blackburn, Mike Demming and Dr. Bob Stevens and their families.
Though our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear Burr, we are comforted that he is in Heaven and enjoying his eternal reward.
