Mr. Robert Grier was born in Jones Mill, GA on December 22, 1936 to Ms. Dorothy Turner and Mr. Robert Grier. He departed this life of labor to reward on July 11, 2024.
Early in age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of First Assembly of God. He received his education in Georgia Public Schools and attended Austin Peay State University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1982.
Robert joined the US army in 1953 and retired as a 1st Sergeant in 1977. After retiring from the military. Robert worked with Job Corps as a manager.
Robert met the love of his life, Lillie Harris and in 1966 they were married and to this union, they were blessed with two children.
Robert loved to travel and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mrs. Lillie H. Grier. Siblings: Marie, Willie Ann, Randolph, Gordon, Grady and Myrtis Grier.
He leaves to cherish his memory. Children: Troy Grier and Loletha Grier. Grandchildren: Chris Grier and Jordan Grier. Nephew: Michael and Jessie Grier. Niece: Yvonne Grier
