Mr. Robert Lynn Griffith was born December 14, 1956. Robert was born in Leslie County, Kentucky the son of the late, Curley Griffitts and Mavie Pennington Griffitts.  He passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at his residence. He was 67 years old. Robert had been a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a logger. Robert enjoyed being outdoors, ginsenging, watching his favorite shows, Bonanza and Gunsmoke, and grilling out. He loved his dog "Blue" and spending time with his family especially his daughter, Robin.  

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Curley and Mavie Pennington Griffitts and siblings, Alice Griffitts Collett, Melbourne Griffitts, Eunice Griffitts Sizemore and Curtis Lee Griffitts. He is survived by one cherished daughter, Robin Morgan (Thomas Johnson) of Stinnett, KY, mother of Robin, Rita Hacker Brock of Stinnett, KY, one brother, Donnie Griffitts, Mason, OH, three sisters, Sarah Hoskins, Hyden, KY, Loretta Simpson (Boone) of Hoskinston, KY and Linda Harris of Bledsoe, KY, one step-daughter, Melissa Feltner, step-grandchildren, Kasey Roberts (David), Harley Roberts (Luke), Alyssa Roberts (Ethan) and Taylor Collett and two step-greatgrandchildren, Parker & Haylee Collett. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, Kentucky

Ministers: Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts and Jeffery Hacker

Interment: Hacker Family Cemetery, Stinnett, Kentucky

Visitation: Tues. Sept. 24th at 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral at the Funeral Home Chapel
