Robert N. Grondin, 79, of Sturgeon Bay passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at the Pete and Jelaine Horton Center Skilled Nursing Facility in Sturgeon Bay.

He was born November 27, 1945 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Stanley and Alice (Remillard) Grondin. Bob graduated from Southern Door High School in 1964. He served his country four years with the U.S. Air Force. Bob worked in sales with Miller Clothing Haus and later Wilkens and Olander before working at HATCO until his retirement. For a time, Bob was a woodworker for the residents of Washington Island. In his free time, Bob enjoyed golfing with friends.

He is survived by his brother, James (Julie) Grondin of Sturgeon Bay; brother-in-law, Peter VanDuyse; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Stanley and Alice Grondin; brother, William T. Grondin; sister, Jean VanDuyse; and nephew, William Thomas ("Tommy" Grondin) Mueller.

Family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of the Skilled Nursing Facility for their care and patience with Bob and thanks to Unity Hospice for their care and support during his last days.

At Bob's request, there will be no public service.
