Robert Grossenbacher Obituary

Bob graduated from La Coste High School in 1955 and then joined the United States Air Force. After serving, he farmed and ranched in Western Bexar County.
On July 6, 1959, he married Judy Marie Leinweber at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. They were blessed with sixty years of marriage and three children.
Survivors include his children, Cynthia Dillard (John) of Spring Branch, Laura Grossenbacher (Tom McGlamery) of Madison, Wisconsin, and Edmund Grossenbacher (Karen) of Austin; grandchildren, Kathryn Hicks (Tim), Jeanette Rath (Ben), Elizabeth Dillard, Wyatt Dillard, Aylise Grossenbacher-McGlamery, Ian Grossenbacher-McGlamery, William Grossenbacher, and Jack Grossenbacher; great-grandson, Josiah Hicks; in-laws, Robert Leinweber (Leona) and Alberta Grossenbacher.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy Grossenbacher; and his brother, James L. Grossenbacher.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas. A bereavement meal will follow at the parish hall.
Memorials may be made in Bob's memory to the charity of your choice.
