Max Grossenbacher 76, of Mineral City, passed away suddenly Thursday June 6, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital. Born January 22, 1948 in Dover, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Joy L (Pongrat) Grossenbacher. He was a 1966 graduate of Tusky Valley High School and retired from the Timken Company in Canton after 38 years. Music was a big part of his life and he enjoyed the years he played Bass in a band with his brother Bob. He will be remembered for his unconditional love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his son Max Jr. and daughter Amy (Charles) Long; Grandaughters Savanah (Andrew) Fulton and Trisha Gibbs; Great grandsons Jayden and Jett Fulton; Brothers Mark Grossenbacher, Bob (Lisa) Grossenbacher; a sister Sherry (Mike) Holinbaugh and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by Michele Grossenbacher, William Howard, Stormy Brinkman, Haas Solvey and good friend Thomas Jonas, who were all very special to Max.
The family would like to thank the amazing doctors and staff at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital. His faith in the Lord has assured him a new life in the promise land.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar. Pastor Andy McClung will officiate and burial will follow in Ft. Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar. Friends may call from 1 PM to time of services at 3:00 PM. To share a memory, please visit the funeral home's web site.
