Sandra Atkins

Sandra Atkins 59, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Devine Nursing Home in New Philadelphia. Born March 28, 1965 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Etta (Watkins) Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of God's Family Church in Dover. She is survived by her husband Wayne Atkins, 2 sons Wayne Atkins, Jr. of New Philadelphia and Shane Johnson of New Philadelphia, a grandson Paul, 3 sisters Sherry Woods of New Philadelphia, LuAnn Seevers of Uhrichsville and Patty Gaut of New Cumberland, 2 brothers Rev. Bill (Linda) Johnson of Dover, Ricky Johnson of Dennison and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Tina Gerber. A memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements.
