Dean Schneider Obituary
In 1970, Dean graduated from Medina Valley High School. He began his career in construction finishing concrete and later became a general contractor. He worked at SeaWorld for ten years as a construction foreman. Dean was an avid outdoorsman and a hunting guide. On October 21, 1972, Dean married Mary Ursula DeCock at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. They were blessed with fifty-three years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Schneider; siblings, Dana Beck (Joe), Larry Schneider (Wendy), and Julie Schneider; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other relatives.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Louis Schneider, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Schattenbol at DeCock Farm, 2374 US Hwy 90 East, Castroville, Texas. Fellowship will follow the Celebration of Life.
