It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Richard Hain, a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bob was a beloved figure, cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Barbara, of 71 remarkable years, and together they created a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He was a proud father to his daughter, Colleen, and his sons, Dennis and Rich. His love extended beyond his immediate family to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bob is also survived by his sister Carol, who held a special place in his heart. He leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, who will forever remember him for his kindness, infectious laugh, and generous heart.
Throughout his life, Bob had a passion for the great outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting, and camping. Bob worked for the Department of Water and Power for 30 years where he retired as a respected lineman. After his retirement, he traveled the world with his friends and family. He found tranquility in his backyard patio where he could often be found feeding his goldfish and his squirrel Sally.
Bob was a man of simple pleasures who cherished every moment spent with his family. His warm smile and gentle demeanor brightened the lives of those around him.
As we honor the life of Robert “Bob” Hain, let us remember the love he shared, the joy he brought, and the lessons he taught. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate the world without him.
Rest peacefully, dear Pop. Your love will continue to surround us until we meet again.
