Anna Hain Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Affordable Burial & Cremation Service - Austin Area on Jan. 23, 2026.
Anna Marie Hain, age 90, passed peacefully on January 18, 2026. Although she was born in and

lived most of her life in Halifax, Pennsylvania, she has lived in Copperas Cove, Texas for the last

19 years.

Anna lived a life rich in faith, devotion, and quiet strength. Her life was firmly anchored in her

relationship with the Lord, which guided her steps, shaped her character, and sustained her

through life's joys and trials. She was known for her remarkable patience and long suffering.

What mattered most to Anna, aside from her faith, was her family. She took great pride in raising

her two children and watching her family grow brought her profound joy. She is survived by her

son Rick Hain and his wife Barbara Hain, and her daughter Sharon Long and her husband

Gordon Long; her grandchildren, Ryan Hain and his wife Ashley Hain, Bret Hain and his wife

Kristen Hain, and Myleah Long; by her great grandchildren Brooke Hain and Jett Hain. Few

accomplishments filled her heart more fully than seeing her children and grandchildren build

lives of their own.

Anna is also survived by her siblings Naomi Miller, Alvin E. Sweigard, and C. Robert Sweigard,

with whom she shared lifelong bonds rooted in family and shared history.

After many years, Anna retired from Willits Shoe Factory in Halifax, Pennsylvania, where she

was known for her reliability and dedication. Whether at work or at home, she believed in doing

what needed to be done and doing it with integrity.

Anna's life was one of steadfast love and faith. Her influence will continue through the lives she

nurtured and the values she shared. Her life was well lived, her purpose fulfilled, and her love

will remain a guiding presence for all who were blessed to know her.

Anna's Celebration of Life will be held January 31st at 1pm. It will be held at Cove Church of the

Nazarene 964 W Business 190 Copperas Cove, TX 76522.
