Roy Lee Sabb

Roy Lee Sabb (also known as Tookie), 84, of Georgetown, Texas died on February 19th, 2026. He was a much loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Roy was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 10, 1941 to Moses and Mattie Bell Sabb. He served in the Army and later became a construction worker and auto mechanic. He married Mollie Ann on January 6th, 1966.

Roy resided in Texas for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working with his hands, playing checkers, watching cooking shows, and cooking delicious food for his family. He also liked to act as an amateur food critic when eating food cooked by others, giving compliments and constructive feedback.

Roy is survived by his wife Mollie Ann; daughters Sherlina, Audrey, and Sheryl; siblings Elijah, Moses, Louis, Isaiah, Vernell, Robert, Ronnie, and Becky; and grandchildren Jessica, Erika, Theo, Timmy, Troy, Thomas, Trenton, Jada, and Legend. He also had many extended family members and friends, such as John Hargrove and Richard Diaz, who were important to him.

A viewing and celebration of Roy's life, followed by light refreshments, will be held at the Salinas Event Center at 1900 E. Howard Lane, Pflugerville, Texas 78660 on March 13th, 2026. There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., a funeral service from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., and light refreshments from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. The family invites all who knew Roy to attend, share their memories, and receive and give support. As Roy wished to be cremated, there will not be a burial service.

Flowers for the funeral service are welcome. If you wish to send flowers, then please have them delivered to the Salinas Event Center on March 12th by 4 p.m.
