Robert L. Halbleib, 95, passed away on February 5, 2024. He was born on September 29, 1928, to the late Leo and Jovetta Guy Halbleib. Robert retired from G.E., was an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII, a Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Agnella Susie Halbleib, Elma Neitchter, Maurice Halbleib and William Halbleib. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Halbleib, his sons, Leo (Brenda), Richard (Pamela) and James (Renee); his grandchildren, David Halbleib (Marie), Kate Samuels (Travis), Christine Halbleib (Dmitry Lamburt), Carolyn Heil (Brian) and Danielle Hamm (Shane); and his great-grandchildren, Shayla Samuels, Eva Halbleib, Alex Chesson, Victoria Heil, Hurston Heil, Tinsley Heil, Jack Hamm and Willow Hamm.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.
