Robert Kutz Hamlen

Robert Kutz Hamlen, 86, of Morris Park, Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital-Warren Campus.
Robert was born in Easton, PA on December 4, 1938 to the late Frank Mohr Hamlen and Kathryne Norton Hamlen.
Robert worked for his father, Frank M. Hamlen and Frank Hamlen Fuel, for many years and became owner/operator of the business in 1977. Bob could be seen throughout the area, on a daily basis, in his yellow fuel truck. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and going out to eat to socialize with friends at the diner. Bob had an affinity with Flashlights and had a CB radio in every vehicle and beside his bed. Over the years, Bob attended Fellowship Church of Morris Park.
Robert is survived by Son, Frank C Hamlen; Sister, Carol (William) Nixon; Sister-in-law, Betty Svoboda; Brother-in-law, William Willever; Niece and Nephews, Gary Willever, Dale Willever, Tracy Nixon Roberts, and Brian Nixon. Robert was predeceased by his Wife, Rosemarie Svoboda Hamlen and Sister, Elaine Willever.
A Visitation for the Family and Friends of Robert will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am at Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Pkwy; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery; 401 North 4th Street; Easton, PA 18042.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made in Robert's name to Fellowship Church; 300 Cromwell Street; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
