Robert "Bob" Hamm

Robert (Bob) Hamm, 92, of Browning, Il passed away May 14, 2025, at 1:42 a.m.at Beardstown Health and Rehab Center in Beardstown, IL. He was born May 3, 1933, in Browning, IL, the son of Willis and Doris Lane Hamm. He married Rosemary Anderson on November 14, 1953, in Browning, IL. She passed away May 31, 2018. Bob is survived by (2) sons, Keith Hamm (Judy) of Browning, IL and Doug Hamm of Browning, IL; (2) grandchildren, Tracy Hamm (John Matthews) of Rushville, IL and Ashley Geary (Jayme) of Manito, IL; (4) great grandchildren, Jordan, Drake, Mason, and Logan. He was preceded in death by (1) son Alan Hamm and (9) siblings, Betty, June, Ruth, Lois, Linda, Jon Leo, Roger, Richard, and Charles. Robert was a Korean Air Force Veteran serving from 1950 to 1953. He was a member of Beardstown Elks Lodge #1007, Beardstown VFW, and the Rivers Edge Boat Club. Robert enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, goose hunting and enjoyed having a cold one with friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 20,2025 at Worthington Funeral Home with Mr. Pat Clements officiating. Interment will follow at Browning Cemetery with military honors by the Schuyler County American Legion Post #4 and U.S. Air Force Honor Detail. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service. Memorials may be given to the Browning Senior Center, Rushville Special Olympics, or Schuyler County Humane Society.
