Robert L. Hammonds, Sr., 65, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Casey County, Kentucky on June 24, 1958 to parents, Ralph L., Sr. and Arnell Hammonds, both of who preceded him in death.
Robert worked in property management and was a co-owner of BBRents. He was a member of the Carthage Lodge #573 F & A.M., Antioch Shrine, Scottish Rite and was also a Kentucky Colonel. Robert loved going to car shows, which he occasionally won, and collecting cars, especially his 1968 Chevelle, He also enjoyed going to the casino, lounging by his pool, and traveling, especially to Cancun. He was a music lover as well.
Most of all, Robert loved his family and he will be greatly missed by his wife, Phyllis A. (Smith Reeves) Hammonds; sons, Robert L. Hammonds, Jr. & Jonathan Hammonds; step-son, Douglas (Ellie) Reeves; step-daughter, Brittany (Will Ray) Reeves; sister, Peggy (Jeff) Zeis; brother, Ralph (Mindy) Hammonds Jr.; grandchildren, Jonathan Roy Hammonds Jr., Brenna Noelle Hammonds & Anthony Raylynn Hammonds; and many step-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at Landmark Church, 1600 Glendale Milford Rd., Cincinnati.
