Robert “Bob” Eugene Harris Jr., born on August 1, 1954, in Fairfield, Ohio, to Wilamina and Robert Harris Sr., passed away surrounded by the people he loved most in his home on February 27, 2026.
Bob was a beloved figure in his community, known for his passion for sports memorabilia and his cherished Harley motorcycles. Standing at an impressive 6’8”, his stature was often a conversation starter, as he easily engaged with friends and strangers alike. Conversations usually ended once they discovered he was a loyal Browns fan. A true animal lover, Bob spent countless hours with his dogs, exploring Bangs Canyon and enjoying walks around his neighborhood. He always looked forward to fishing and camping with family.
The joys of Bob's life were enriched by his grandchildren, whom he adored, and impromptu motorcycle rides that brought him great happiness throughout the years. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Kincaid; son-in-law, Anthony Gutierrez; son, Isaiah Kincaid; and grandchildren Maliyah and Jason Gutierrez. His family also includes stepchildren Melissa Miller, Ian Miller, Bekah Shriver, grandson Mikey Miller, great-grandson Baby MJ, and extended family members April, Brent, Collin, Kendal Christianson, Amber, Shelli Mellick, along with close relatives in Florida.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wilamina and Robert; his sister, Patty Cleek; brother-in-law, Warren Cleek; brother, Butch Harris; and the love of his life, Patty Miller.
A short celebration of Bob’s life and one last ride will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Veterans Memorial, located at 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO, starting at 3:00 PM. If you would like to join us, please feel free to do so.
