Robert P. Harron, age 77, a lifelong resident of Aston, PA, died on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at home with his loving family by his side.
Bob was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1966. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era from 1968-1970. Bob worked for the US Post Office for 38 years until retirement. After retirement, he drove a school bus for Garnet Valley School District for 10 years.
Bob was a dedicated catholic and founding parishioner at the Church of St. Joseph, Aston, PA, where he ushered for many years. He was an avid sports fan supporting the Philadelphia teams and enjoyed softball, bowling, tennis and golf. He was an original board member of the Aston Sport Hall of Fame and inductee. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Son of the late John and Mary Harron; Brother of the late John Harron.
Survivors:
Wife of 49 years: Madaline Evangelist Harron
Devoted Daughter: Kelly (Matt) Rule
Son: Robert J. (Jaime) Harron
Grandchildren: Lily and Kira
Sister: Mary Joy (James) Iannucci
Also survived by nieces and nephews
Visitation: January 6, 2025 10:00AM at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.
Funeral Mass: January 6, 2025 at 11:00AM at the Church of St. Joseph.
Interment: Lawn Croft Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Church of St. Joseph at the above address.

God bless Madeline and your children, Kelly, Bobby, Jaimie, and grandchildren in this time of sorrow. I recall the wonderful times that our kids grew up together. All of you are in my daily prayers. I am sending prayers to all of you with my deepest sympathy. I am so sorry for your great loss. Buck was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I love all of you. Madeline, I am here for you when you need me.
