Robert Stephen Hartline, DDS, better known as Dr. Steve Hartline, 75, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his sister and nephew Rebecca and Robbie Crossland; and his parents, Robert and Virginia Hartline.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Hartline McNamee of Knoxville; two sons Jake Hartline and Steve Hartline, Jr. (Jennifer); two grandchildren, Reagan and Holden Hartline; step-son John Hogan (Bethany); two step-grandchildren, Noah and Henry Hogan; his special family friend Gena Didona-Evans (Tony); and his caregiving family, Allie Young, Carol and Terry Dalton, Devon and Stacy Walker.
Steve was among the first graduating class of Cleveland High School in 1967. He went on to graduate from Memphis State in 1971 and then University of TN College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN in 1977. He then started his first dental practice and became a prominent dentist in Cleveland, TN where he had the opportunity to practice dentistry for over 45 years. He loved his family and friends, appreciated his healthcare workers, and he loved the Lord. Mr. Hartline was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Poole Funeral Home and Cremation, formerly Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Poole Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating, and Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jake Hartline, John Hogan, Bobby Goins, Terry Dalton, Johnny Underwood, Dr. Brian Beard, DDS, Dr. Kenneth Beard, DDS. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Larry Bush, DDS and Dale Evans.
Poole Funeral Home and Cremation, formerly Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, is in charge of the arrangements.
