Robert L. Harvey Jr. of Shelburne, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at the age of 86.
Robert was born in Rutland, Vt on July 03, 1939 and was a son of Robert and Alma (Walker) Harvey.
He had graduated from Rutland High School and was employed by Vermont Marble Company in Pittsford, Vt and then the City of Rutland where he retired from in 2001.
In his retirement years, his time was spent in the winter months at his home in Hudson, Fl and summers were spent at the Malletts Bay Campground in Colchester, Vt.
Bob was quite the “handyman” and could fix almost anything. Over the years, he acquired and was proud of his tool collection and machinery needed to do any job. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop where he would enjoy a can of beer and listening to his country music. He also enjoyed doing puzzles, making birdhouses and taking in a relaxing sunset over Lake Champlain.
He is survived by his wife Sherree of Shelburne, his daughters Sherry (Mark) Fontaine of Rutland, Mary Harvey of Whitehall, NY, Dawn (Rick) Noren of Poultney, Tracie Thon (Rodney Oliveira) of Colchester, sisters Rose, Bonnie, Barbara of Vermont , several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his parents, four children Bobby, Debbie, David, Carol, his sister Margaret and his brother William “Bill”
