Dear Dee, I was very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My sympathies to you and your children. I was always amazed that you two and John and I found ourselves in South Dakota after Peace Corps in Panama. Bob, John, and I all graduated from USD School of Law. We saw you a couple times during your Pierre days but have lost touch since then. I am still at the same address in Sioux Falls, so you could let me know your phone number and I could call you to visit more. John and I send our love to you. Bonnie

Dear Dee, I was very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I know you were in Minneapolis, but don't know your address. I have a daughter and granddaughter living there and would love to call you and visit. I am at the same address in Sioux Falls and I think you have that. Here is a photo of me and my youngest daughter and her two girls taken on Mother's Day. I always thought it was amazing that you and Bob and John and I wound up in South Dakota! I'm only sorry that we didn't see each other more. My sincere sympathies to you and your children. Our most recent visit to Panama was in December of 2023. We went to celebrate our dearest Panamanian friend's birthday. She turned 90!

Dear Dee: I am so sorry to learn of Bob´s passing. I heard about it from the underground RPCV network! I remember fondly spending weekend evenings drinking and partying at your apartment in DC in the late 60s. You and Bob were trail blazers-none of the rest of us had children or even thought about having them, but we all tried to accommodate Bob´s needs to party. We all loved "Stephie" and then "Benji" and your forever patience. Ken, who I married, and I had one of our many "first remembered" meetings at RHA, where there was a fund raiser, partially organized by Bob (?) for the first black man to run for sheriff in some county in Mississippi. Bob was a wild and generous man and you were his rock and together you were perpetually late. To my great regret we did not stay in contact after you left DC. I send you my love and condolences. I believe I was the third employee of the South Dakota Housing Development Authority. Bob was my best Mentor ever. So many great stories, I did benefit from the Fly Lobsters venture. Trips around South Dakota in the Volvo and many others. Bob will be missed by all. He was truly a wonderful person. Our thoughts are with Dee, Stephanie, and Benjamin.
