Robert Hill Obituary

Robert and Betty were active members of the Dewville Methodist Church. He loved going out for a great meal, especially with his church family whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed talking to everyone who would listen to memories or any other subject that might come up.
Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, his parents, great-grandson, Zane Pieprzica, and his brother Wayne Hill.
Survivors include daughters, Karen Pawelek and husband Isidore and Deborah Glenn and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Kimberly Holmes and husband Josh, Laura Pieprzica and husband Michael, Kevin Pawelek and wife Jennifer and Krystal Adams and husband Brett; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Emily, Zacharias, Zoe, Chloe, Claire, Brennan, Breesa, Kynlee, and Remington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
Visitation will begin Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Dewville Methodist Church followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with The Reverend Rip Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Treybig Cemetery in Gillett, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Derek Dion, Joey Wrinkle, Monie Fellers, Chase Mikesh, Tanner Mikesh, William Green, Bobby Simmons, and Johnny Baker.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dewville Methodist Church, P. O. Box 44, Nixon, Texas, 78140.
