Robert Lawrence Hillis

Robert L. Hillis, age 71, passed away peacefully in his home on March 4, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Darlene (nee Cross); his children Jacki (Nick) Mascia and Larry (Kana) Hillis; his cherished grandchildren Ivy, Lucca, Tyler, and Liam. He is also survived by his sister Debbie Hillis. Bob was the loving son of the late Anne (nee Harnatkiewicz) and Lawrence E. Hillis. Bob's kindness, generosity and love for his family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His unwavering devotion to his family was on display every moment of his life and he especially loved being a grandpa. He was a loyal friend to many, which will remember his smile, unique wit and sense of humor. When coupled with a few beers, he produced some of the most insightful and downright hilarious anecdotes one could dream up. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 33603 Outley Park Drive, Solon, OH. Please join us to honor Bob and share your favorite memories of him.
