Robert Hobbs Obituary
Bob was the beloved husband of 50 years to Roberta Hobbs; devoted father of Alex (Beth) Hobbs of Robinson Township and Rebecca (Chris) Abad of Olive Branch, MS; cherished grandfather of Kira, Irelynn, and Finn Hobbs, and Landon Abad. He is also survived by his brother Jeff (Bernie) Hobbs; stepbrothers Mark Foreman and Matt (Robin) Foreman; and stepsister Susan (Tom) Poppelreiter.
Bob retired from AT&T after a dedicated career and was an Eagle Scout and proud U.S. Army veteran. A lifelong lover of music, especially classic Rock and Roll, Bob shared a special bond with Roberta over their love for live concerts. He valued staying active and could often be found at the gym, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren. He and Roberta frequently traveled to Mississippi to be with their southern family.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 4–8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM.

So very sorry to hear of Bob´s passing.
Got to know him as a fellow gym friend.
Rarely have I know someone with as positive an attitude about life as his. Truly enjoyed life and family. Love his wife dearly. He´ll be missed.
