My name is Jess and I lived with Rob for a year at a lake house with his partner at the time.
I went to so many of Rob´s music performances and was blown away by his talent and dedication. He took me for my first motorcycle riding experience with his friend. I ended up moving to Colorado after he did and we all went to a trip to see the ice castles. At this point I was a teacher and Rob told me he was proud of me. It meant so much to me. It reminded me of a low time back in CT where I had too much to drink and Rob carried me safely home and even tucked me in. Rob always made sure that women were safe. It was very clear that he was raised right. It meant so much to see him after making so many positive changes in my life and seeing how well we were both doing in Colorado.
I, like Rob also eventually returned home to be with my family. As a mother of boys now, my heart goes out to the family. My prayers go out to you during this painful time.
Just know that Rob was the kind of person who always told it how it was. He gave tough love to inspire people to be better. He cared about always doing the honorable thing. I´m proud to have known him and his parents should be very proud of who they raised. His legacy will live on and we will not forget him.

He was one of my favorite people. I will cherish the experiences we had. He was talented in everything. He bummed a cigarette from me every day. He will be missed. - Scholz

I am so sorry for your loss. Words can express the depth of grief. It´s an emotional roller coaster and it comes in waves. Take time to feel and to grieve your great loss. I enjoyed the pictures and the memories posted here. Thank you for sharing your beloved with us. I am a friend of Emily Webster. I will be praying for God´s love and comfort to embrace you during this time of great sadness. You are loved and never alone

My first memory of him was when he joined the band, it was such a cool dude. I've had some funny moments with him like when they jammed in the house and neighbors got mad, I came in and told them thatthe neighbors were mad but Rob said "Tell them to call the police" it made me laugh so hard.
My most recent memory is the last show they did. Me and him were playing with the bar's bubble guns.
I really am gonna miss him..

As long as there is love, there will be grief. The grief of time passing, of life moving on half-finished, of empty spaces that were once bursting with the laughter and energy of people we loved.
As long as there is love there will be grief because grief is love's natural continuation.
It shows up in the aisles of stores we once frequented, in the half-finished bottle of wine we pour out, in the whiff of cologne we get two years after they've been gone.
Grief is a giant neon sign, protruding through everything, pointing everywhere, broadcasting loudly, "Love was here." In the finer print, quietly, "Love still is."

My dear sweet boy, I´ve loved since before you were born. I´m so happy I saw you the day before you left us. I looked into your stunning blue eyes and just wanted to hold you and never let you go. I will love you forever.
