Mr. Robert Clinton Howard, Sr. of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Christopher Mastin, Officiating.

Mr. Robert Clinton Howard, Sr. was born on January 29, 1940, in Long Branch, New Jersey. He was a native of Fair Haven, New Jersey and a resident of Tampa, Florida, for 22 years. He attended Rumson–Fair Haven Regional High School in Fair Haven, New Jersey. Mr. Howard was employed as a shopkeeper at Lucent Technologies in Lincroft, New Jersey, where he worked faithfully for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtel Brown; father, Clinton Howard; brother, Donald Howard; sisters, Phyllis Johnson, Joan Lewis and Evelyn Perkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Sherry Howard; two sons, Robert Howard, Jr. and Christopher Howard, both of New Jersey; stepdaughter, Ashley William; stepsons, Anthony and Aaron Williams, all of Tampa, FL; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Cervin Howard and Max Howard; sister, Midge Howard; sisters-in-laws, Kathy Fountain and Terry Dudley; brother-in-law, Steven Fountain; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
