Robert Hucks Obituary
Born June 23, 1940 in Conway, he was the son of the late John Cruth Hucks and Ida Lucille Herring Hucks. Mr. Hucks proudly served in the US Army and retired as Agency manager from Brunswick County Farm Bureau.
He was an avid golfer and very family oriented. He had a loving and kind heart and accepted everyone.
Mr. Hucks will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Along with his parents, Mr. Hucks was predeceased by six siblings, Clyde Hucks, Clarence Hucks, Carl Hucks, Leola Kennedy, Joan Hilburn, and Doris Kanna.
Surviving are his wife of 6 years, Millie Hucks; four children, Jeannine Sellers (Michael Bradstreet), Robert "Buddy" Hucks, Jr., Michael "Mickey" Hucks (Christine Thou), and Dina Edwards (Andra McKinley); two step-children, Tammy Livengood and Tracy Smith (Chris), twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Earlene Hucks and Margaret Hucks.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, at the chapel.
