Robert Mitchell Huggins, 75 of Fayetteville, passed away November 28, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Born in Cumberland County, he is the son of the late Walker Douglas Huggins and Ethel Loyd Johnson Huggins.
He is survived by his wife Jane Huggins; one daughter, Sherry Huggins Hutchens and husband Ricky; two sons, Larry Lee Huggins and wife Heather, and Michael Gregory Huggins; 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Rhealyn, Christopher, Morgan, Delaney, Abigail; a brother, Larry Greg Huggins and wife Mary; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Robert loved to play golf and corn hole. He enjoyed fishing and making his family happy. He will always hold a special place in their hearts, and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
