Robert "Bob" Carter Hustus, 65, of Blythewood, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Born in Fort Lee, Virginia, he was the son of the late John and Mary Hustus. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years.

Bob found his greatest joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved being outdoors, especially when he had a fishing pole in hand, and he never missed a good NASCAR race. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved cats, who were his constant companions.

He is survived by his daughter, Skyler Hustus; stepdaughter, Josie York; and grandson, Zack York. Also surviving are his stepmother, Dawn Hustus; brothers, John H. Hustus (Shari), Tommy Hustus (Kathy), Daniel Snowskisi (Corey), Frank Poore, and Charles Poore (Summer); sister, Patricia Mullus (Martin); along with his former wife, Samantha Hustus.

A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 6 o'clock on Thursday, October 30th, at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 4625 US-321, Gaston, SC 29053. A private burial will take place at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
