Robert Carl Hutt Sr., Age 85, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 1:38 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Franciscan Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born on July 7, 1940, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late William Hutt and Mary Catherine Paul Hutt. Robert proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, he retired from Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a vehicle assembly technician.

Robert was a devoted member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville and an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1348. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ann Paull Hutt.

Robert is survived by his loving children: Robert Carl Hutt Jr. (Regina) of Clarksville, Cynthia Wallace (Dennis) of Clarksville, Donnie Hutt (Beth), of New Albany, Tammy Heck (Larry) of Crestwood, KY, Mary Hutt (Brian) of Clarksville, and Keri Rapp (Charles) of Lakeville, MN. He was the proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Robert will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave, Clarksville, IN 47129. His funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 North Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville, IN 47129, with John Bamman OFM Conv., officiating. Burial will take place in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Robert may be made to Autism Speaks or to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
