Robert Lee Jackson, age 73 of
Kenton, DE, departed this life on January 1, 2026 at the Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE.
Born in
Wilmington, DE on November 9, 1952, he was the son of Madeline Jackson and the late George Watson.
Robert received his early education at Kenton School #9 and later through the Smyrna School District.
Robert worked on various jobs. His earliest job was working at Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill (DHCI) and then he worked on a Cranberry Farm, was an Independent Logger and K W Flooring.
In his spare time, he loved to watch westerns, such as Gun Smoke, Rifleman, and Walker, Texas Ranger. In addition, he enjoyed watching car racing. He also loved music and dancing. He was a jack of all trades. He was truly an outdoor person and you could hear him fire up his tractor early in the morning. He loved cutting grass and maintaining his lawn.
Robert married his wife Naomi on July 13, 1996 and they have been together for over 40 years.
In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by his sisters, Melody Watson, Jacqueline Rothwell and Beverly Jackson; his brothers, Henry Swain, Keith Jackson and Wayne Jackson; his brother-in-law Robert Watson and a special cousin, Ty Herman Stevens.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife of 29 years, Naomi and his mother Madeline; two daughters, Jamie (Joe) Santana and Tiffany Cephas; three stepsons, Kyle (LaCora) Cephas, Andre Cephas and Jerome (Rosario) Cephas; two brothers, Stanley (Yvette) Jackson and Renn Jackson; one sister, Tori Henry; one brother-in-law, Coleman Rothwell and one sister-in-law, Pam Jackson. He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a very special granddaughter, Tae'den, who he loved dearly and his whole world revolved around her and a host of nieces and nephews.
