Robert R. Jennings passed away on June 28, 2025 at the age of 99. Robert was born June 1, 1926 in St. Charles, MO to Robert and Hulda Jennings nee Lienemann. Robert is survived by his daughter, Karen (Ronald) Weaver of Foristell, MO, his two sons, Robert (Darlene) Jennings Jr. of Foristell, MO and Dennis (Julie) Jennings of Wentzville, MO, eight grandchildren, LeAnn (Patrick) Hickey, Pamela (John) Klekamp, Dennis (Shana) Jennings Jr., Jake (Emily) Lemons, Brad (Kerstyn) Lemons, Courtney Lemons, Zach Lemons, and Zachary (Sarah) Jennings, eight great-grandchildren, David (Lindsey) Hickey, Danielle (Kraig) Benney, Darci Hickey, Thomas Klekamp, Anna Klekamp, Jameson Lemons, Aubrey Lemons and Raelynn Jennings, one great-great grandson, Leo Evers, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hulda Jennings, his wife Evelyn Jennings, his sisters Mable Jennings and Lorraine Mosher, his brothers Elmer and Elroy Jennings, his grandson Robert Jennings, III, and his great-great granddaughter Everly Benney.
Robert was married to the love of his life for 71 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He took great pride in his family, an honest day's work and enjoyed farming with his sons. Robert proudly served in the Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 0323 for 51 years. He was a member of Carpenters Local 32 for 75 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
