Mr. Robert Fred Jones

Mr. Robert Fred Jones, age 86, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his home in Cove, Arkansas. He was born on July 16, 1939, in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, to parents, Carl L. Jones and Nona Mae Wilcox.
Robert was a logger by profession and worked in the timber industry for mostly all his life. He was married for 54 years to the late Margaret F. (Dean) Jones. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and gambling. He was a member of Midway Pentecostal Church and loved being a member.
Mr. Robert Fred Jones is preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Jones; his mother, Nona Mae Wilcox; his wife, Margaret F. Jones; his son, Paul Edward Jones; and by his sisters, Betty Sharp, and Mary Garrison.
He is survived by his common law wife, Lesia Land; sons, Rodney Dale Jones of Cove, Arkansas, Michael L. Jones and wife Melissa Cooke of Vandervoort, Arkansas; grandson, Hunter Paul Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas; granddaughters, Brooke Ashlyn Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Breanne Parker of Cove, Arkansas; great-granddaughter, Nova Lee Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brothers, Walter Jones of Valley Springs, California, John Jones of Alden Springs, Arkansas, Tomas David Jones of Mena, Arkansas, and James Jones of Mena, Arkansas; sisters, Maxine Hubbard of Cove, Arkansas, and Sue Cost of Mena, Arkansas; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends too numerous to mention.
Traditional services for Mr. Robert Fred Jones will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Chapel in Mena, Arkansas. Brother Tim Smeadley will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will be held after the services at Witherspoon Cemetery in Vandervoort, Arkansas.
